Adults > Psychiatric Program

Our Adult Program provides treatment for patients ages 18 and above. Our primary goal for treatment is crisis stabilization. Specifically, what this means is that we will:

remove the individual from outside stressors by providing a safe and secure environment,
diagnose the primary and underlying issues,
develop a comprehensive treatment plan to address presenting issues and realistic goals,
provide individual, family, and group therapy,
provide medication stabilization, and
develop a comprehensive Aftercare Plan to increase the likelihood of success upon discharge.

Typically, adult hospitalization lasts between 7 and 14 days. As you can imagine, problems that have taken sometimes years to develop will most likely not be cured within this short length of time. This is precisely why we develop with our patients a thorough and effective Aftercare Plan.
